BACILLUS SUBTILIS
Bacillus subtilis is a rhizospheree and phyllosphere colonizing bacterium. These are proven bacterial and fungal antagonize that protect plants from diseases. They are able to control several soil borne, seed borne and air borne crop diseases caused by fungus belong to deuteromycetes, oomycetes, ascomycetes and bacterial plant pathogens. Because Bacillus subtilis forms spores, pesticide products containing this bacturanium are stable. Therefore, even if treated seeds are stored for prolonged period, the bacteria stay alive and then grow and multiply after the seeds are planted.
Bacterial and fungal antagonism is due to nutrient composition on the site of exclusion, colonization of bacteria on fungal pathogen and release of cell content during growth to eliminate the fungal pathogen in immediate environment. It also induces plant natural systematic resistance against bacterial and fungal pathogen known as (SAR) Systematic Acquired Resistance.
BACTOSPIENE (B.T)
Bactospiene (B.T) is a beneficial bacterium which plays a role in controlling worms. When the drug enters The worm’s body produces spores and toxins that make the worms stop eating. And two or three days later he died of starvation.
Bactospeine (B.T) was evaluated as biological insecticide for the control of rice leaffolder, rice caseworm and rice armyworm larvae in the laboratory. Bactospeine at the lowest concentration of 0.5 g/200 ml water caused 100% mortality on leaffolder and rice caseworm at 3 days after infestation on treated leaves. On rice armyworm, BT was only effective at the highest concentration of 3.0 g dissolved in 200 ml water at 3 days after infestation.
BEAUVERIA BASSIANA
Beauveria bassiana is a species of living that acts like a parasite, infecting different types of invertebrates (insects, mites, etc.). There are several Beauveria bassiana strains. The advantage of commercialized strains is that they better target pests like aphids, thrips and whiteflies. When the conidia (spores) come into contact with the insect’s cuticle (skin), they spread into the hemolymph (blood), which they feed on. This causes small insects like thrips to die within three to five days and larger insects to die within five to seven days.
This fungus can be very virulent when applied in optimal conditions, using the right mixing and application techniques.
KALICHAKRA (Metarhizium Anisopliae)
Kalichakra (Metarhizium Anisopliae) infects all the stages of insects including eggs, larvae, pupal, nymphal and adult’s. The spores attach to insect cuticle / integuments, germinate and penetrate the insect body, and cause mortality through a combination of chemical, mechanical, water loss and nutrient loss effect. The insect body ultimately gets covered with mycelium and spores, which may get dispersed and cause subsequent infections. Certain toxins called destruxin produced by this fungus also cause the mortality of insects.
kalichakra contains highly effective naturally occurring entomopathogenic fungus (metarhizium anisopliae) that parasitizes several insects-pests of agricultural importance.effective against: kalichakra controls larval, pupal and nymphal stages of wide range of pests like aphids, jassids, termites, white grub, fruit flies etc.
